Doi Ilish (Hilsa With Yogurt) is a classic Bengali dish very popular in West Bengal. Surprisingly preparation of this dish is really easy and very quick. It’s the eating part which is difficult and time consuming. Thanks to the innumerable fish bones that makes my husband’s life hard to eliminate the bones and have the fish. But still with such challenges he never complains. This dish tastes simply awesome and it is worth every effort to relish this delicacy item.
