Roti/Chapatti Noodles is an awesome indo-chinese dish which you can prepare using left-over chapattis. Actually there’s no real noodles used in this unique recipe. The left-over chapattis are cut into long thin pieces to give the look of “noodles”. The Roti/Chapatti Noodles Recipe is quite unique and is a great choice for breakfast the next day using the left-over chapatti from previous night. This can also be served as heavy evening snacks as well.

Ingredients for preparing Roti/Chapatti Noodles


  • 6 leftover Chapattis
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pav bhaji masala

How to make Roti/Chapatti Noodles


Step 1

Take 6 leftover chapatis, cut into long strips and keep aside.

Step 2

Cut 1 medium size onion, 1 capsicum, 1 tomato slices into thin long slices and keep aside.

Step 3

Take a non-stick frying pan heat 2 tablespoon of butter and put the onion, capsicum slices and fry till it is half tender.

Step 4

Add 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped, tomato slices, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and cook for 5 mins.

Step 5

Add 1/2 teaspoon black salt powder, salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon pav bhaji masala and mix well

Step 6

Now add chapati strips (step 1) and toss well.

Step 7

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Step 8

Roti/Chapatti Noodles is ready to serve hot as breakfast.
