Maacher dimer bora/ Fish Egg Pakora is a side dish item usually accompanying fish curry dish as the Fish egg comes with the fish from market. Ingredients to make Maacher dimer bora/ Fish Egg Pakora
- 1 medium size onion
- 2 green chili
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 100gm fish eggs
- Few coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoon of gram flour
- vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
How to prepare Maacher dimer bora/ Fish Egg Pakora
In a bowl take 100 gm fish egg, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder, 1 medium size chopped onion, 2 chopped green chili, 3 tablespoon of gram flour, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, few coriander leaves, salt to taste and mix well. This is the batter for the pakora.
Take a non-stick frying pan heat 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. Take 1 teaspoon of pakora mix / batter (Step 1) in oil, Similarly put 5-6 pakora mixes / batter at a time in the pan.
Fry it till they become golden brown in colour.
Fish egg pakora is ready to serve hot with plain rice as a starter along with coriander chutney and salad
