Ingredients to make Aamawat (amsotto) ki Chutney with Khajur (dates)
- 200gm Aamawat (amsotto)
- 3-4 dates (khajur)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Some cashew nuts
- Some Raisin
- 4-5 teaspoon sugar
How to prepare Aamawat (amsotto) ki Chutney with Khajur (dates)
Take 200gm Aamawat, cut it into small pieces and wash it in water.
Take 3-4 dates (khajur) and cut it into small pieces.
Take a non-stick pan heat 2 cups of water and put the aamawat and dates and bring to boil for 2 mins.
Then put 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder and cook for few mins.
Now put 4-5 teaspoon sugar (according to sweetness) and cook for 2-3 mins.
Finally put some cashew nuts and raisin and cook for again 2-3 mins.
Cook the chutney till aamawat becomes smooth and dates becomes soft. Chutney must be medium thick.
Aamawat (amsotto) ki Chutney with Khajur (dates) is ready to serve as a desert after lunch or dinner.
