Phool Gobi Do Piyaza is a slightly different version of the standard aloo phool gobi ki sabzi. You will need quite a number of ingredients, so plan ahead when you are doing the groceries. The Phool Gobi Do Piyaza Recipe is a dry one and hence ideal with Roti/Paratha. Of course you can serve this delicious dish with rice but you will need dal or other form of curry dishes.Ingredients
- 1 small size phool gobi
- 2 potatoes
- 2 big size onion
- 5 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Pinch of panch phoran
- 2 dry red chili broken into half
- 2 bay leafs
- 2 cardamom
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 2-3 cloves
- Handful of green peas
- grated 1 inch ginger
- 2-3 garlic pods
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

How to make Phool Gobi Do Piyaza
1. Take 1 small size phool gobi, cut it into medium size pieces and take 2 potatoes, peel off its skin and cut it into medium size pieces. Wash them properly in running water.
2. Cut 2 big size onion into thin long pieces, wash it properly and keep aside.
3. Take a non-stick frying pan, heat 5 tablespoon of vegetable oil, put the potato pieces (step 1) into the oil with little salt & little turmeric powder and fry till it become little brown in color after that put the cauliflower pieces and fry till it is golden brown in color and keep aside.
4. In the same frying pan put pinch of panch phoran, 2 dry red chili broken into half, 2 bay leafs and slightly crushed 2 cardamom, 1 stick of cinnamon, 2-3 cloves. When its starts to splutter put onion pieces (step 2) with little salt and little turmeric powder and fry till it become half tender.
5. Now put handful of green peas, grated 1 inch ginger & 2-3 garlic pods and fry for few mins. Put the fried potato & cauliflower pieces into the pan with salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and fry for 2-3 mins. Then put little water and cook for few mins.
6. Finally put chopped coriander leafs and mix well.
Phool gobi do piyaza is ready to serve hot with puri or Paratha.
