Palak Saag is an everyday item that is really good as fiber and also healthy for your family. - 250 gm palak (spinach)
- 1 inch of grated ginger
- 1 chopped green chili
- 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil
- Pinch of methi
- 1 clove of chopped garlic
- 1 dry red chili
- Salt to taste

How to make Palak Saag (Spinach)
1. Take 250 gm palak (spinach), wash it properly and cut it into small pieces and keep aside.
2. Take a non-stick frying pan heat 2-3 glass of water till it boils and put the palak (step 1 ) into the pan and boil it till the palak become tender, then drain the exess water and keep aside.
3. In a bowl put the boil palak and mash it with hand add 1 inch of grated ginger, 1 chopped green chili, salt to taste and mix well.
4. Take the same non-stick pan (step 2) and heat 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil, put pinch of methi, 1 clove of chopped garlic and 1 dry red chili broken into half fry it for 1/2 min. Put the mash palak (step 3) and cook for few mins till the palak become smooth . Keep mashing the palak with the wooden stick during cooking.
Palak Saag is ready to serve with Rice for lunch.
