Ingredients
- 500gm mutton (goat meat)
- 2 tablespoon of yogurt/curd
- 1.5 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 2 bay leaves
- 2-3 dry red chili
- A pinch of whole cumin seeds
- 1.5 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1.5 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ghee
- salt to taste
- 4 tablespoon vegetable oil

How to make Mutton Kosha
1.Take 500gm mutton wash it properly and marinade with 2 tablespoon of yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste and little salt for 1 hour.
2. Take a non-stick frying pan, heat 4 tablespoon of vegetable oil and put 2 bay leaves, 2-3 dry red chili, pinch of whole cumin seeds and fry for 1 min. Then put 3 big size chopped onion and fry till it become half tender.
3. In a seperate bowl put 1.5 teaspoon coriander powder, 1.5 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder,1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, salt to taste and add little water mix well and make a paste.
4. Put the paste (step 3) into the pan (step 2) and fry for 2 mins, then put marinaded mutton pieces and mix well. Fry the mutton pieces with masala till the oil separete from masala.
5. Take a pressure cooker and transfer all the contents of pan into the pressure cooker with little water. Cook for 20 mins in a cooker or till the mutton become tender and finally put 1 teaspoon ghee over the mutton and mix well.
Mutton Kosha is ready to serve hot with Puri, Paratha and Roti (Chappati) for dinner.
Bonus Tip: You can use mustard oil for cooking Mutton Kosha for added punch in the dish.
