How to prepare Green Peas Pulao easily and quickly using rice cooker
1. Wash the rice under flowing water and drain off the water and put the rice into the rice cooker. Add double quantity of water (slightly less if you want the rice grains to remain long and dry).
2. Add all the ingredients except ghee (turmeric, salt, sugar, cashew nuts, raisins, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, peppercorn) into the water and mix well.
3. Turn on the rice cooker. It usually takes 15-20mins to cook the rice.
4. As soon as the automatic button shifts to warm (i.e. cooking is complete), turn off the cooker and wait for 5mins.
5. Add ghee and stir well so that everything is mixed well.
Green Peas Pulao is now ready to serve hot with any other spicy side dishes in lunch or in dinner. This is the recipe that takes the least effort yet produces a delicious pulao.
