Egg Sandwich is a classic breakfast item (specially on weekends). And this is a healthy breakfast too as there’s no frying/oil involved. Of course there’s a little usage of butter/cheese, but these are normally applied on bread anyways. This is quite a heavy breakfast dish that keeps your stomach filled for hours. And the Egg Sandwich Recipe is a really quick one too. You just need the time to boil the eggs, add 5-10mins to that and the egg sandwich is ready.


Ingredients

  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 2 chopped green chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • Few chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 4 bread slices
  • 1 small size onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chat Masala

Preparation Time: 10 min
Cooking Time: 10 min
Serves: 2

How to make Egg Sandwich

1. In a saucepan boil 2 eggs with 1.5 glass of water with 1 teaspoon of salt. Salt will help to remove the shell of the egg easily.

2. In a bowl put the 2 boiled eggs, smash it with hand and mix well till it becomes fully smooth. Then add 2 chopped green chili, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, salt to taste, few chopped coriander leaves, 1/4 teaspoon chat masala, 1/2 teaspoon cheese, 1/2 teaspoon butter (melt the butter and cheese together in microoven for 10 secs).  Mix everything well.

3. Toast 4 bread slices and spread the mixture (step 2) over the bread slices and put onion (small size) cut in thin round shapes over it. Join the bread slices with another bread slice to form a shape of sandwich.


4. Cut the Sandwich in triangular shape.


Egg Sandwich is ready to serve with tomato sauce for a super heavy and healthy breakfast for egg lovers.
