Last night I saw the movie Rann. I really liked this movie, it is not at all boring like other movies. The story of the movie is based on media world and politics and their inter-relationships. The story is not so new, it is often shown in many other films. Starcast of this movie are Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal and many more. Acting of Amitabh Bachchan is good like always, Ritesh Deshmukh is also ok. In this movie only 2-3 background songs are there, which are not so good. Comic scenes are performed by Rajpal Yadav and are good enough to laugh. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of “Harshvardhan Malik” who is the owner of news channel. He always believes in giving true news to the public. His son “Jai Malik” betrays his rule of running the business and join hands with opposition party leader “Mohan Pandey”. “Jai Malik” takes media as a source of making money by “creating” news. Ritesh Deshmukh works in Amitabh Bachchan’s news channel, he is an honest reporter like Amitabh. The movie is quite entertaining, somewhat insightful and close to reality but of course with sufficient doses of drama.

Good intellectual movie, somewhat lost me in the middle when that good guy was searching for evidences (too unrealistic).
