In last week, special episode of Balika Vadhu has been telecast for 1 hour. In this episode Sugna’s five year old son Varun fell from terrace and got seriously injuried. But it is quite sure to me that Ram Charan, elder brother of Varun’s grand father, pushed Varun from the terrace. He wants to kill the innocent child because he is not Shyam’s child. He always hates and scolds Varun and tells him not to call him Dadusa. Finally Ram Charan got the chance to hurt Varun and he succeeded in his intention.

In Balika Vadhu, Anandi and Jagdish meet after 5 years, but it seems like they will again be separated for another 5-6 years because Jagdish wants to give exam for medical, he wants to become Doctor. If he passes in the exam he will have to go to big city for Medical Studies. Everyone in the family do not want that Jagdish to go far way from home for higher education. Dadisa and his father want that Jagdish should take interest in family business like himself and his uncle. Anandi very politely and logically convinces everyone and his father to give permission to Jagdish for sitting in the exam. The tension of separation is building up again.

In the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Teej puja/festival is shown in today’s episode where every married woman does fasting for the whole day for the well being of their husband. Akshara and Naitik’s patch up happens in the occasion of Teej, where Natik shows his love for Akshara by having fast for whole day. The problem with this serial is the same sequence of events and themes are shown everyday, day after day. Every thing that is happening is too predictable and gets boring very soon. I felt like switching to another channel and surprisingly discovered a new reality show being telecast from 10th July 2010 in Imagine TV channel (at 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays in case you are interested to watch).

In the serial Balika Vadhu, Anandi visits to her in-law’s house after 5 year as a grown up Anandi. Face of Jagdish is disclosed on the 18th birthday of Anandi. Jagdish came to her house and introduced himself as a Rajasthani village boy wearing mustache and try to tease Anandi. No one recognized him, not even his parents. It is a surprise plan by Jagdish because Anandi doesn’t know how Jagdish looks. Also everyone thought that Jagdish went for a mountaineering trip.

In the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, on Star plus, finally Naitik succeeds to convince his family for the marriage of her sister Nandini and his friend Mohit. Throughout the whole month in the episodes of this serial, both the families are shown busy in the arrangement of marriage and performing all the traditional rituals. All most all the serials nowadays take 1 month to show a marriage, but it is still a good time pass to see the celebrations, dancing and marriage songs in the serials, similar to the Hindi movies.

In the serial Balika Vadhu the new face of Anandi is revealed and this character is played by Pratyusha Banerjee. She is indeed suitable as the character of Anandi, but i still like cute Avika Gor as Anandi. After 1 week of the leap in the serial, new face of the Jagdish is not yet disclosed, may be we will see Jagdish at the 18th Birthday of Anandi. In the serial misunderstandings are not coming to an end in either of the families Maheshwari and Singhania. Problems of both the families are all about not obeying the elder’s decisions and facing its consequences. Naitik has now fully taken the responsibility of her elder sister Nandini’s marriage. Let see that whether Naitik be able to find a perfect match for her sister or at last he will agree to give consent to the relationship of his best friend and his sister, going against his family. In the coming episodes we will see that how Naitik will help her sister to find her love.
